What you feel, before what you see.
Upholstered Furniture
Comfort is decided by what you cannot see: the frame, the suspension, the layers of foam and fibre. We build sofas, armchairs, beds and benches from the frame up, in our own upholstery room.

What defines it
Considered in every detail.
Hardwood frames
Kiln-dried hardwood, glued, screwed and corner-blocked. No shortcuts under the fabric.
Seat comfort to your preference
Soft, medium or firm, with seat depth and back height set for the people who will use it.
Fabric and leather library
Bouclé, velvet, linen, performance weaves and full-grain leather, or your own material.
Tailored by hand
Pattern matching, piping, channelling and stitching done by upholsterers, not by a production line.

Questions
Asked often.
Can I try the seat comfort before ordering?
Yes. Visit the studio to sit on different constructions and choose the feel you prefer.
Can you reupholster furniture I already own?
If the frame is sound, yes. We will assess it honestly and tell you whether it is worth doing.
Which fabrics suit homes with children or pets?
Tightly woven performance fabrics and certain leathers are the most forgiving. We will show you options that clean easily.
